T-shirts can be folded in a variety of ways, from a basic fold to a more complex origami fold. For a basic fold, lay the T-shirt on a flat surface and fold in the sleeves, then fold the T-shirt in half lengthwise to create a rectangular shape. Next, fold the bottom of the shirt up about one third of the way up, then fold the top down about one third of the way down. For an origami fold, start by laying the T-shirt flat and folding the bottom up one fifth of the way. Then fold the left side over to the right side and the right side over to the left, creating a triangle. Finally, fold the bottom point up towards the collar, and then fold the collar down to create a neat square.
T-shirts can shrink if washed and dried in high heat, or if exposed to direct sunlight for an extended period of time. The T-shirts from Wordedgeshop.com are pre-shrunk. Preshrunk is done to prevent further shrinking after use, it means that the fabric goes through a controlled procedure during production in which it is preshrunk before being turned into a garment.
